Lots of insights coming soon
For right now I was thinking of living in Willow River and the gals always seem so pretty out here in bush country. Then my dog came to mind and critters. Then facts about critters. Ones mind seems to wander sometimes as you experience the thrill of creating something.
Willow River
She was a small town cowgirl in the 1950s
She loved to ride her horse and chase the breeze
She dreamed of seeing the world beyond the prairies
But she knew she had to stay and help her family
She worked hard on the farm from dawn to dusk
She milked the cows and fed the chickens and the pigs
She helped her mother with the chores and cooked the meals
She never complained or asked for anything
Some facts about Zebras
Zebras have several natural predators, including lions, hyenas, and wild dogs. Their black and white stripes can make it difficult for predators to single out an individual zebra from a group, providing a form of protection.
Zebras, particularly Grevy’s zebras, are listed as vulnerable or endangered due to habitat loss, competition with livestock for resources, and poaching.

Ode to a country Gal
She’s a pretty country gal, with a smile like the sun She works hard on the farm, but she knows how to have fun She likes to sit on a log, by the creek or the pond She wears her work boots proudly, they’re sturdy and strong She’s not afraid of dirt, or sweat, or mud She’s a pretty country gal, and she’s my kind of love
